Day 1 – Arrivals into Springfield/Branson, MO

Today meet we meet our local guide at the hotel for an introduction. A little later we will depart for dinner at Landry’s Seafood House, where they have brought the great taste of the Gulf Coast to one of the nation's premiere entertainment destinations’. After dinner we will head for the Mickey Gilley Theatre where we will enjoy the show SIX. That one word alone defines a complete entertainment experience! Sensational harmonizing, fascinating instrumental sounds straight from their mouths, six brothers brimming with talent, polished professionalism, and a healthy dose of mirth and merriment, they’ll entertain and charm us right from the opening note!  Branson Hilton or Similar (D)

Day 2 – Reception, Wine and Dine with the Stars of Branson, MO

Enjoy a great breakfast buffet at the Golden Corral and then we will be whisked away to see the Red, Hot & Blue show, where a seasoned cast of professional entertainers take you ‘Dancin’ Thru the Decades’!  After the morning show we’ll enjoy a relaxing lunch on our own before seeing the Dutton Family Show and enjoying bluegrass to classical music and everything in between. This evening we will reception, wine and dine with the entertainers that we will be seeing though out this week.  All of this fun will take place on a Yacht Cruise departing from the Branson Landing.  Branson Hilton or Similar (B, D)

Day 3 – Another full day of fun and entertainment in Branson, MO

After breakfast at the hotel we will enjoy a leisurely morning shopping and lunch on our own at the Branson Landing outdoor mall. This afternoon we will make your way to see the show #1 Hit’s of the 60’s & 50’s Too! Here we will be treated to a non-stop, high energy party with more than 90 songs, an astonishing 100 costume changes, delightfully groovy dance moves, and a genuine passion for the music.  After a great Italian dinner at Florentina’s, our evening will end with some great country music at the Classic Country’s Patsy Cline & Friends show; a sincere tribute to one of history’s best and still sorely missed leading ladies of country music and we will be treated to music of other county greats as well.  Branson Hilton or Similar (B, D)

Day 4 – Travel to Eureka Springs, AR

After breakfast at the Grand Country Buffet, we will depart for Eureka Springs. Today we will be treated to the beautiful Thorncrown Chapel; this magnificent wooden structure contains 425 windows and over 6,000 square feet of glass.  Our lunch this afternoon will be included at Mertie Mae’s and afterwards we will enjoy the open air downtown trolley tour before checking into our hotel and then a great dinner at the magnificent Crescent Hotel.   After dinner we will be treated with the Crescents Hotel‘s Ghost Tour!  Basin Hotel or Similar (B, L, D)

Day 5 – Explore your way to Rogers and Bentonville, AR

Today, as we travel to Bentonville, we will visit War Eagle Mill, a working water-powered grist mill and scenic site featuring the Historic War Eagle Bridge.  As we travel further we will make a stop in Rogers, Arkansas to tour the Daisy Air Gun Museum, home to the largest collection of antique air-guns, BB guns and commemorative rifles.  Next stop is the Rogers Historical Museum, where you will experience the past in a museum that is designed for hands-on.  After lunch on our own at one of the many wonderful restaurants in Downtown, Rogers, we will depart for Bentonville where we will visit the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art before heading to dinner at Simple Pleasures where we will get a blast from the past with a time capsule style dining. Simple Pleasures is a 1930’s art-deco service station filled with cars and cultural artifacts. It’s not just a dinner, it’s an experience.  Best Western Plus or Similar (B, D)

Day 6 – Discover the historic sites Bentonville, AR

Today we will enjoy a tour Bentonville with many interesting stops along the way. First stop, the Walton 5 & 10, located in Sam Walton’s original Bentonville variety store.  Nest stop we will enjoy a wonderful catered lunch at the Peel Mansion Museum before taking a tour of the 1875 mansion built for Colonel Samuel West Peel.  We will observe how Arkansan’s lived in the 1800’s. We will also pay a visit to the Veterans Wall of Honor and the Museum of Native American History before ending our day with dinner at Fred’s Hickory Inn, Bentonville’s oldest restaurant and favorite of Sam Walton.  Best Western Plus or Similar (B, L, D)

Day 7 – Last stop Fayetteville, AR

After a great breakfast at the hotel we will depart for Fayetteville and enjoy the George Dombak Studio where we will meet the nationally recognized artist, tour his gallery and see his studio.  Next we will visit Terra Studios where we will stroll along the wooded paths through the mural garden, visit the pottery studio and watch skilled glassworkers create the now famous Bluebird of Happiness®. After a great tour, we will be enjoy a great included lunch at Mermaids before we enjoy an afternoon tour of Fayetteville.  On the tour we will tour the Clinton House, the first home of Bill and Hillary Clinton when they taught Law School at the University of Arkansas.  Hilton Garden Inn or Similar (B, L, D)

Day 8 - The Journey Home  

After a great breakfast at the hotel, we sadly have to say goodbye to the great Ozark Mountains and make our way back to Springfield, MO for our return home.  Flights home should be scheduled for 12:30pm or later. (B)
