DAY 1 – Overnight Flight  

DAY 2 – Germany
Arrive at Frankfurt Airport and transfer through the Main River Valley to Nuremberg. Hotel Hoefler, Nuremberg, Germany or similar (D)

DAY 3 – Germany
Today is devoted to the history of Nuremberg, the site of the famous War Trials. Included is admission to the Documentation Centre and Palace of Justice. Hotel Hoefler, Nuremberg, Germany or similar  (B,D)

DAY 4 – Germany - Austria
Leave Nuremberg for a somber visit to Dachau Concentration Camp. Continue to tour Munich, the capital of Bavaria. After a leisurely visit, depart for Austria where you will spend the next two nights. Hotel Goldener Löwe, Kufstein, Austria or similar (B,D)

DAY 5 – Austria
Day at leisure in your scenic Austrian village or join your tour manager for the full day optional 'Salzburg & Eagle's Nest with Dinner' excursion. Hotel Goldener Lowe, Kufstein, Austria or similar (B)

DAY 6 – Germany
After breakfast travel to Ulm for time to view the Ulm Minster. Make a stop at the grave of Erwin Rommel on the way to your hotel, located on the northern edge of Germany's Black Forest.  Best Western Bad Herranalb, Bad Herrenalb, Germany or similar (B,D)

DAY 7 – France - Germany
Visit Lorraine's American Cemetery, the largest American World War II cemetery in Europe. Tour Fort Hackenberg, part of the Maginot Line. Overnight in Igel, near the three-country border of France, Luxembourg and Germany. Hotel Igeler Säule, Trier-Igel, Germany or similar (B,D)

DAY 8 – Luxembourg - Belgium - Germany
After a visit at the American Cemetery in Luxembourg, continue to the historical center of Bastogne, Belgium. Travel into the Ardennes region, known for the infamous 'Battle of the Bulge' and to Diekirch National Museum of Military History. DAY 9 – France 
Tour the WWI and WWII battlefields and memorials near Verdun. Proceed to Reims, General Eisenhower's headquarters during WWII. Enjoy an independent dinner in Reims. Overnight in Paris. DAY 11 – France

DAY 12 – France
The entire day focuses on the Normandy Landing Beaches, including Pointe du Hoc, Utah Beach, Longues Battery and the coastal village of Arromanches. Mercure Hotel Cote de Nacre, Caen, France or similar (B)

DAY 13 – France - Holland
Head north into Belgium to admire the medieval architecture of Flanders. Spend the late afternoon in Antwerp and be sure to try the waffles!  Your hotel for the next three nights is just over the border, in Holland.  Van der Valk Hotel, Tiel, Holland or similar (B,D)

DAY 14 – Holland

DAY 15 – Holland

Day 16 - Germany                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Returning to Germany, stop in Remagen to view the remains of the Ludendorff Bridge, and take a cruise on the Rhine River.
