Our autumn journey begins as we depart Michigan and head east toward Syracuse, New York. Enjoy a relaxing day of travel with comfort stops and time to get to know your fellow travelers. Upon arrival, check in to the Hilton Garden Inn East Syracuse for your overnight stay. The hotel offers an indoor pool, whirlpool, and guest rooms with microwaves, minifridges, and free WiFi. Dinner is on your own tonight at the hotel restaurant or a nearby local restaurant.

After breakfast, continue east to Massachusetts for lunch at The Steaming Tender, a railroad-themed restaurant in a restored 19th-century train station. Check in for a four-night stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Lincoln. Tonight, enjoy a relaxing group dinner at a local favorite as we settle into the charm of the mountains.

This morning, ride the Mt. Washington Cog Railway—the world’s first mountain-climbing cog train—for a scenic journey to the summit of New England’s tallest peak. A box lunch is provided on board. After returning to Lincoln, take time to unwind before a special evening aboard the Café Lafayette Dinner Train. Dine on a five-course gourmet meal as you ride in a vintage Pullman car through the forested Pemigewasset River Valley.
