We meet our fellow travel companions in Kingston, Ontario*, and check in with our Tour Director before departing for our Quebec City and Charlevoix Experience. After a mid-morning comfort break and a lunch stop on our way, we arrive in Quebec City and check into the historic Hotel Clarendon inside the fortification walls. This evening, we enjoy an included welcome dinner together, followed by free time to wander the quaint streets of Old Quebec and discover its magic.

( Dinner )After enjoying an included full breakfast, we are joined on our coach by a local guide and period character who will share the rich history of Quebec City, ending our morning in Place Royale with time for lunch on your own and shopping in lower town and the Petite Champlain. We then bid Au Revoir to Quebec City and travel along the scenic St. Lawrence toward the Charlevoix and Saguenay regions, arriving at the majestic Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu in Baie Ste. Catherine to unpack and settle in. This evening, a wonderful welcome dinner awaits, followed by free time to wander the spectacular grounds, try your luck at the nearby Casino, or simply enjoy this beautiful “Castle” along the banks of the St. Lawrence River.
( Breakfast Dinner )After enjoying an included full breakfast buffet and a leisurely morning to wander the grounds and take in the beauty of the St. Lawrence, we board the coach and travel to Baie Ste-Catherine for lunch on your own and time to enjoy the maritime setting. In the afternoon, we depart on a whale-watching cruise aboard the AML Grand Fleuve, where bilingual naturalist-guides help us encounter the giants of the sea in the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park. Dinner is on your own this evening, with free time to relax on the terrace, explore the stunning pathways, visit the Casino de Charlevoix, or enjoy a glass of wine by the outdoor fireplace.
( Breakfast )After starting the day with a wonderful breakfast at the Manoir, we set out for an unforgettable cruise into the Saguenay Fjords, spending a half day relaxing, unwinding, and taking in the breathtaking cliffs and scenery, with an included lunch served onboard. We then return to the castle to relax and enjoy the splendor around us before gathering for a farewell dinner to reminisce about the memories we’ve made, with the remainder of the evening free to enjoy the beauty of the St. Lawrence River and this remarkable “castle” setting.
( Breakfast Lunch Dinner )After enjoying breakfast at your leisure and a relaxing morning, we check out of our hotel and begin our journey home, traveling along the beautiful St. Lawrence River and taking in the lovely scenery, with stops for lunch on your own and comfort breaks along the way. We expect an approximate arrival back in Kingston* at 8:00 pm. *Drop off is also available in Ottawa along the way
